Soccer predictions for Man United – Brighton

On Saturday evening, Manchester United welcomes Brighton in a match from the FA Cup finals. The Old Trafford meeting is the third consecutive household for “red devils” within one week.
Last weekend, Manchester United beat Liverpool 2-1 on their own ground, giving confidence to their fans that in the middle of the week will defeat Sevilla in the Champions League to qualify for the ?-finals. That did not happen, however, and the “red devils” lost 1:2 from the Spanish team, thus dropping out of the tournament. So the FA Cup remains their only chance for a trophy this season after the team is 16th behind Manchester City in the Premier League. Manchester United was very poor on Tuesday as Seville. The team was again very slow and predictable in the early positions, and in the closing minutes it also cracked in defense. Leaving the Champions League is a very unpleasant news for fans of the Red Devils. But now Manchester United can make it to them and they are obliged to continue at the 1/2-finals in the FA Cup.
So far in the tournament, Jose Mourinho has eliminated the teams of Darby County, Yeovil Town and Huddersfield. In all three matches Manchester United kept a dry net and won the first matches. In the last round they beat Huddersfield 2-0 as a guest and are ready to eliminate another Premier League team. Brighton’s team made a 3:1 over Coventry home at the 1/8-finals. Previously, the “gulls” eliminated Middlesbrough (1:0) and Crystal Palace (2:1) so they should not be underestimated.
Brighton stays firmly in the Premier League, taking the 11th place. In their last visit the team lost 0:2 from Everton to Goodison Park. In my opinion, the “gulls” will record a second defeat in a foreign field because Manchester United is a much more classy team and will be ambitious to record a victory in this match after the failure of Seville a few days ago.
